Who we are
Your Home Design Experience is run by Iterreditum Limited (NZBN 9429053407245), 16 Golden Place, Fairfield, Hamilton 3214. In this policy "we" and "us" means Iterreditum Limited. We follow the Privacy Act 2020.
What we collect
When you fill in our enquiry form we collect your name, mobile number and email address, and what you tell us about your plans: whether you have a section, where and when you want to build, and where you are up to with finance.
When you use our website, our analytics and advertising tools (Google Analytics and the Meta pixel) collect information about your visit, such as the pages you view, the device and browser you use, and how you arrived at the site. They use cookies to do this.
If you message us on Facebook or Instagram, we receive what you send us there.
Why we collect it
- To reply to your enquiry and book your design session
- To design, price and plan your home with you
- To introduce you to a builder, or help you find a section, when you ask us to
- To understand how people use our website and improve it
- To show our advertising to people likely to be interested, and measure whether it works
Who we share it with
We share your details with the builders, designers and other partners we work with only where that is needed to do what you have asked, for example to price your design or find you a section. We tell you who they are before we pass anything on.
We also use service providers to run our business, such as our website host, email provider, customer database, Google and Meta. Some of these store information outside New Zealand. We only use providers we reasonably believe protect personal information to a standard comparable to New Zealand law.
We don't sell your personal information.
Keeping it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access. We keep it only for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires.
Cookies
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will still work, but we won't be able to measure your visit.
Seeing and correcting your information
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you and ask us to correct it. Email hello@yourhomedesignexperience.co.nz and we'll respond within 20 working days.
Complaints
If you have a concern about how we've handled your information, please tell us first at hello@yourhomedesignexperience.co.nz. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner at privacy.org.nz.
